Bathing fun and tingling cooling off is offered by our natural bathing lake, which we call “Kleiner Achensee” because it is a detailed replica of the real Achensee – with a water slide and spacious sunbathing area. In addition, a pirate raft, which you can easily bring from shore to shore with a little teamwork. Relaxation and fun – ideal for young and old water rats!
Horseback riding and carriage rides:
Our in-house riding stable with riding arena and paddock guarantees animal holiday joy from the very first second. Our Haflinger and Icelandic horses are well trained and particularly good-natured when dealing with children. But not only on horseback, but also in the carriage our guests find complete happiness. On a horse-drawn carriage ride, the whole family can explore the surroundings together.
Golf:
Numerous golf courses around Lake Achensee invite you to enjoy golf. Our specially trained children’s golf pro will help the little golf fans to learn the sport in a playful way. The Achensee lies like a small gem embedded in the beautiful mountain world of the Rofan Mountains and the Karwendel Nature Parks. The area around Lake Achensee ranges from proud Culminate About Classical Austrian Alpine pastures up to fantastic viewpoints. They frame our refreshing, sparkling jewel. Jogging, Running & Nordic Walking:
In front of the hotel there are the best running and walking conditions – over meadows and forests, hill and dale or along Lake Achensee. The region offers runners a lot of variety and, with its 183 km of designated running routes, is, without exaggeration, one of the most beautiful running destinations in the Alps.
On our guided Nordic walking tours, our guests get to know the fairytale-like, untouched nature around Lake Achensee. The duration and level of difficulty of the tour can be chosen individually by you. Our trained Nordic Walking instructor will teach you how to use the poles correctly. As a competent and experienced Nordic Walking guide, he will help you choose the right equipment and show you the most beautiful routes.

Let go and recharge your batteries. Our Alpine Wellness Trainer helps our guests to reduce the stress of everyday life and to find peace. The exercises are based on tension and relaxation and provide deep relaxation as well as rest for body and mind.
Sailing, surfing and kiting:
At first glance, these water sports are not associated with a holiday region in the Austrian Alps. Due to its unique location, the longest lake in Tyrol at 9 kilometres, also known as the “Tyrolean Sea”, offers the best water and wind conditions for adventurous water sports.
